Sanwo wanguo held a lecture on "Patent Design and International Patent Application" in East China University of Science and Technology

On November 5th, the National Technology Transfer Center of East China University of Science and Technology held a lecture entitled "Patent Design and International Patent Application" in the lecture hall of Yifu Building. The event was organized by the National Technology Transfer Center and the University intellectual Property Research Center. It was the second lecture of the university intellectual property series activities.

The lecture was hosted by Yu Yangyao, director of intellectual Property Research Center. Liu Liping, director of Shanghai Sanhe Wanguo INTELLECTUAL Property Agency office, and Zhang Mingyu, deputy director of Shanghai Sanhe Wanguo Intellectual Property Agency office, gave wonderful speeches on patent application strategy, patent application strategy design, common problems in patent application, international patent application practice and so on. After the meeting, teachers and students of the school had a heated discussion and exchange with Mr. Liu and Mr. Zhang.

Liu Liping and Zhang Mingyu are senior experts with nearly 20 years of experience in foreign patent agency and part-time professors of our school. Their rich practical experience in intellectual property and their explanations in simple terms enabled many teachers and students to have a more thorough understanding of the creation and management of intellectual property.

According to the organizer, these activities will effectively promote and enhance the creation, application, management and protection of intellectual property in our university.
